1 in 200 Million!!!

As I mentioned in a previous blog, my neighbor down the street was pregnant with triplet boys. Well, I am happy to report that the boys were born on July 28th and 2 were over 4 lbs. and one was just under. They were delivered at 33 weeks and 3 days (appropriate; 3, 3, 3). They never needed ventilators and are already off oxygen and only have feeding tubes, but are ready to try nursing now. They should be able to come home in a couple of weeks.

Her pregnancy was great and delivery went smoothly and the boys are all healthy. It is a true blessing and miracle for triplets. One of the most amazing things though is that they just got the pathology report back that says they are all identical. I looked it up and there is a 1 in 200 million chance of having identical triplets, and on top of that she had no fertility treatments! Don't be surprised if you see their family on the news soon! Please keep this family in your prayers as they deal with the adjustment of triplets on top of having three other boys.
