First Day of Preschool

Medium was excited to go to school for the very first time today. He is going to a spanish immersion preschool 2 days a week. After the first couple of weeks, the teachers will only talk to the children in Spanish. Medium is excited and anxious to learn. I think he will soak it up very quickly.

We made him a special big pancake breakfast (his choice). Right before leaving, we unwrapped his nap mat and I showed it to him. I warned him that he would be having a nap time, or rather, rest time today. He decided to practice rest time before leaving for school. He reminded us when we got to school that he had already practiced rest time at home and did not talk (all of 1 minute), so we should know that he will be able to do it at school. :)

He started babbling to me the second he got into the car, all about his day. He told me about some game that he was suppose to be still, and it sounded like he found that to be a challenge, but managed to do it when he got a second chance. The report from his teacher was that he is a very sweet boy and smiles all the time. Yeah, we think so too. :)
