This is the first of potentially many posts that we would have posted before now if we had a blog before now. Actually as a side note the biggest obstacle to our starting a blog was thinking of a name. When we finally thought of a name (we wanted to call our blog quiverfull.blogspot.com) we found that others had already used that, and about the first 5 variants of that (aquiverfull, fullquiver, etc) had already been taken. After taking a closer look at those blogs I have found that most of the other people with that blog name have really big families making our family of 5 not seem so big anymore. But anyway we are going to stick with this name, and if our family ends up growing in the future we won't have to change the name!

Sitting in a pool hall in Fairbanks, Alaska, I am laughing loud and long enough to get funny looks from those around me. That is the best thing I've seen in a long time.
