A: We have decided that one week was just about long enough to live with the color that we painted the wall last weekend, and those colors on the right are the candidates for "Take 2". (Note: In the previous sentence replace the words "we decided" with "Kim decided" and "one week" with "negative two hours" (meaning the decision that the color was not right was made before we even finished painting the first coat). Besides staying up until ~3am painting on a Saturday night is kinda fun!
Q: Why is there a toilet where your bathtub should be?
A: I guess it's a good place to store it while they install the tile.
Q: Does it work like that?
A: We don't know for sure - nobody has tried it.
Q: How many working bathrooms do you currently have downstairs.
A: None
Q: Why is your bed leaning against the wall?
A: Because of all the dust that is being stirred up in the bathroom.
Q: Does it work like that?
A: NoQ: Where do you sleep instead?
A: Upstairs in the guest room.
Q: Are you actually able to sleep there?
A: No.
Q: Why is there cardboard covering the majority of the downstairs?
A: Because the contractor doesn't want to mess up the floor as they carry things such as bathtubs through the house.
Q: Why did you and Kim go into a tizzy when Large spilled a small amount of Sprite on the floor?
A: Until they are stained we're not supposed to spill water on the floor.
Q: But he didn't spill water, he spilled Sprite.
A: That's not a question, but anyway we think that counts.
Q: Is it ok now?
A: We hope so.
Q: When do you hope that all this work will be done?
A: YESTERDAY!!
Q: Is all the headache going to be worth it?

Just a note, this is not the first time we were painting a room and I decided half way through that it wasn't the right color. Barry has decided to coin the term, the "farce" coat. We always have to go through the "farce" coat and then we can move on to the first coat.
I am thankful for a husband that laughs it off, and still agrees to paint with me, despite my "farce" coat. Thanks for putting up with me!
